Video Editor

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our Content team. You'll work closely with our creators, marketers, and designers to bring stories to life through compelling video content from short-form social clips to longer branded pieces. If you have a sharp eye for pacing, sound, and visual storytelling, and love turning raw footage into polished, share-worthy videos, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll work on

  • Edit raw footage into engaging videos for social media, YouTube, and marketing campaigns
  • Add subtitles, graphics, music, sound effects, and color correction as needed
  • Collaborate with content writers, designers, and marketing teams to align videos with brand voice
  • Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
  • Repurpose long-form content into short-form clips for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms
  • Maintain an organized library of raw footage, project files, and finished assets
  • Stay updated on video editing trends, formats, and platform-specific best practices
  • Incorporate feedback quickly and iterate on drafts efficiently

What we're looking for

  • 0-2 years of experience in video editing (internships/freelance work count)
  • Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
  • Strong understanding of pacing, transitions, and storytelling through video
  • Basic knowledge of color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics
  • Ability to work with different aspect ratios for various platforms (16:9, 9:16, 1:1)
  • A portfolio or reel showcasing previous editing work
  • Good communication skills and ability to take direction well
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Nice to have

  • Experience with After Effects or other motion graphics tools
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
  • Understanding of YouTube/Instagram algorithm and content trends
  • Experience shooting video content in addition to editing
  • Familiarity with color grading tools like DaVinci Resolve
  • Knowledge of sound design and audio cleanup
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced content/marketing team
